The past week i've had insane lag spikes.
Going from an acceptable average ping of 80 - to 200-300 or even 400+. This happens every minute or so, and has only gotten worse with time.
First i thought it was my connection, but i'm sitting on a 400/400 mbit connection, with only two devices connected - and this only happens when i'm playing Sea of Thieves. I'm pretty sure something is going on with the servers of Microsoft/Xbox.
I can play CS:GO with 5-20 ping all day, without any hiccups. I can play WoW with around 40-60 ping. And with any other game i'm currently playing, i dont experience any lag at all, whatsoever.
So this has to be something with Sea of Thieves, and i'm not the only one - i've asked my lads if they experienced the same, and they do. We all get hiccups every minute or so, and today it ended in the dreaded AllmondBeard causing us to lose hours worth of skulls, which is just bad luck - i'll get over it.
However, i'm making this post to ask you guys, if you have experienced the same lately? And does anyone know if Rare is aware and are working on a fix?
