One thing I always hear about Sea of Thieves is become a pirate legend. But to be a legend you have to be known. If there was some type of leaderboard that showed how much treasure you have claimed may help. There could be like a daily, weekly, monthly, and all time treasure tracker. You could also have a way to see what crew has claimed the highest valued individual treasure for the day and all time. Like is said something like "The crew containing Blah,Blah,Blah and Blah Claimed Sacred Skull worth 12,525 gold". This would help people become pirate legends. You could either announce it on the screen when a record has been broken or it could be something you could do at the tavern. Either way you could access it through your options. You could also announce when like a crew has been attacked by the Kraken if they won or were defeated. There could be a poster on the wall in the tavern, you could even do it with the hungering deep. I think this may help in making you feel not so alone in the world and give people something to work towards. Pirate Legends.
Leaderboards for treasure
@jjfats im at over 1400 chests people could probably post pics in the forum and someone would probably organize it eventually people in the community always to above and beyond sometimes but i have to guess they would only do like the top 20 or so
@ajm123 I just think that it would give more people something to shoot for. Especially like daily boards, who collected the highest value single treasure, for each faction, who has highest daily loot. Things like that and pop-ups that say this crew just got conquered the Kraken or got sunk by the kraken. As is right now sometimes you just feel so alone in the world, that seeing things like that will make me feel that there are more people out there.
