New update 1.0.8 has an issue - loading screen issue please post here if encountered....

I’ve had the long black loading screen since 3 patches ago. I’m on Xbox. My hubby doesn’t get the long black loading screen as much as I do.

@squating-chimps I am also having the same problem but its not just from the ferry, I got stuck earlier and that also put me in the endless black loading screen, this is so annoying

Same here. Black screen on return from Ferry of the damned.
I didn't have this issue before, not even once. (I'm playing since the scaletests).

I've been running into new* issues after every single patch - literally.
*to be precise: issues I had not experienced before

I've had a crash and now islands are not loading. Other people are at them and fine, but I fall straight through the map. Also got the stupidly long wait after the ferry (just sitting here listening to my ship hit something and sink while I have the blacl screen and loading wheel) and no NPC's at outposts. Also can't submit a support ticket because the website won't let me do anything other than search for existing articles (and yes I've searched, and no, the link to submit a ticket hasn't appeared).

At this rate, I'm losing confidence that this game is capable of sustaining a live game business model. Every single update manages to break the game in some significant way.

@logansdadtoo I had that happen to me twice before this patch. It was Saturday. I had to die to get back my hands.

My husband and I are both having loading screen issues. He had it from taking a mermaid back to the ship and I've had it loading back in from ferry of the damned.

@squating-chimps same thing has happened to me many times over dude. The problem has not ben fixed.

I have noticed an increase in black screens lately. Tonight I ran into three of them.

So didn't have a long load time from the ship of the dead or from the first mermaid I took. When in a battle I did have the problem of the loading screen taking forever to get me back to my ship from a mermaid after falling off.

@squating-chimps Same here. Never happened before 1.08.

First the freezing with AMD gpu's, then last weeks mess, now this. I love this game but every time I come across one of these issues it keeps eroding at my enjoyment. I find myself caring less about the rewards because I expect something to happen before I ever cash anything in.

@onedeviousdog The sharks are on purpose. Its part of the events leading up to the hungering deep. I wonder if the black screen is too. So annoying that these show stopping bugs keep appearing.
