We've all been in the situation, when you've had enough of grinding for the day and fancy a bit of Pirate V Pirate action. So you commit to the hunt instead.
After finishing a rather disappointing and fruitless Legendary quest with me crew-mates. We fancied a pick me up. Instead of focusing on loot, we would focus on having fun, taking out other ships. Through this, we decided to go as "au naturale" as we could. No clothes, no stocking up lots of cannonballs, no custom colours. The only thing we would grab is an explosive barrell or two and any loot we found post-war. Through these simple rules, the Naked Savages were born.
We wanted a really raw and non-overly complicated battle technique. Which was all brash courage and no overly safe strategy. Just to make it a win or die situation for us all. Which made it particularly funny for us. Having nothing to lose and playing the part can really add the fun to games of this nature.
We wanted to come across as this mental tribe of savages on the proximity chat, so that the enemies could have a laugh at us too during / after the fight. You know what, it was a pretty effective start - we've been doing it since. Some people outright stop fighting back and watch and laugh at us. It's hilarious.
