Lather, rinse, repeat.
Every time I play I get at least one voyage to...Crooked Masts. There are a few islands to which I've never had a voyage but Crooked Masts is not one of them. And it's obviously not just me because I easily run into another ship or two 80% of the time that I go there.
I think we need a little more balance in the randomness of voyages.

My heart sinks whenever that island pops up on a voyage!

Every other Merchant mission I get is to Dagger Tooth. It's like Start at Dagger Tooth, mission to Galleons then back to DT. Then to Ancient Spire, then to DT...

We have thought this a great option until we headed as far across the map as possible only to be sent right back! How the heart sinks!
@pumpkinkangaroo @oxynatOr It definitely used to be a thing that you could do this, don't put down a quest until you're in another region - much prefer those Caribbean Blues, personally but perhaps it doesn't any more ......
@katttruewalker I think it was the luck of the voyage draw for us. Wanting to explore other areas only to get a 4 island voyage that ends by takes us right back. We do enjoy the sailing though so a little chuckle at our luck and we're on our way.
Well, it happened again today right out of the gates. My first voyage was to Kracken's Fall and...yep...Crooked Masts. Where I ran into... another ship. Of course he a griefer, sank my ship just for fun, and then we ended up fighting three times. I think I'm just going to cancel all voyages there from now on.

I HATE old faithful l**o, I really don't know why. I honestly believe its because of the weather and how the island is just tiers of rocks and sand... One thing i wish the devs would do is make the weather dynamic across the entire map and lose this gloomy side and bright side thing...

@natteringnabobs go all the way south-west, Discovery Ridge, or nearby and start the voyage...Crooked Masts shouldn't be in that voyage then, at least the chance isn't that high
