The issue: I'm playing solo in a sloop. My friend comes on but I have a juicy voyage or I'm carrying treasure. I want to invite my friend to my game but I don't have the option to do so. Is there any reason why we can't invite our friend to our game and become a 2 man sloop? I don't feel as though this would give any type of advantage or anything.

@lord-sphinktus Copy. It's just weird to me that the functionality isn't already there. Considering that you can invite a specific person to a Galleon crew without having to do anything fancy. Wouldn't think it would be that hard to implement. Love the game. This has practically been my only gripe.
I think it had to do with server player maximums... I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think solo sloops used to be slipped into servers to up the player number twords the cap, and adding players after the fact could stress the server by pushing player numbers up... I have no concrete info on this, it's just what makes sense from what I know of how multiplayer games work..
