Hello Fellow Seafarers,
I am elated to be on this chance adventure with you all and I foresee fortunes and partnerships in both our favor. But in divulging a family secret I must inform you that no man, woman, child or even family can best me at a grog drinking match. This is a truth from the gods of the sea and the gifts they endowed me. To measure this, I purpose we have a leader board of the best grog drinkers from all the lands.
Not purely the 'best' consumers of grog but the most efficient consumers of grog. One must drink and interface with the sea and its toils efficiently. If one is to drink without preforming tasks and duties one would actually subtract from their grog consuming efficiencies (within an allowance, of course, and partying not withstanding, since calculating partying grog efficiency consumption ration, or PGECR, is beyond my or even the gods comprehending* at this point).
In accordance to this pirate tradition, some say it code, lore or law we should increase certain related skills by factors of about 0.001 or less and decrease other related skills accordingly and in similar measurements. Possibly even add accomplishment skills/perks/achievements.
In doing so we will have effectively created a 'maximum' calibration area but purely for the effect of a, for lack of a more perfect phrase, p*****g contest.

The following is just a side argument to my idea. The above is an idea that would add to the nuances of the game and the lore since well.... drinking has been 'known' as a pirate thing.
: Well what if someone wants to sit there and consume grog all day for the minuscule effects to damage?
: Let them, the point im trying to make is that there should be some none material consequence to the game to add a second aspect and way to play, not because there needs to be, should be or there was an advantage but just for bragging rights. For example no matter where YOU are on this leader board you could have your friends come over and start a friendly mini game. If they had a lower tolerance they would require less drink and not need to drink as frequently but they would not receive the the most positive or negative effect changes, yet.
: What if someone wants to abuse this in other ways purely for the purpose of obtaining a better grog drinking score, since obviously the way you are purposing is so that the benefits of trying to manipulate this system are minute and no one should worry any ways, was to appear?
: Then who cares. Let them. They will eventually show on the board and everyone else who matters will know, "Oh, they kinda probably shouldn't be their and most of us just recognize position 3 and below..." this will always be the case.
: What if no one participates?
: Oh, people will participate... its a drinking game. I mean come on.
: How and when could this be done?
: I don't know. Probably never because maybe it can't? I will be satisfied with an acknowledgment of the idea.
The real 'Q and A' here should be, "How am I going to beat Crissco at grog drinking?"
