    Some way to Battle friends.

    thats it.

    I am specifically saying here, you know them, you arrange the match.
    NOT AN ON GOING MATCHMAKING SYSTEM!
    But a way to challenge our friends... Groups (Clans)
    Fleets, bet gold and fight it out! losers lose gold that was bet!

    Whether its done in game or main menu, how ever.

    But this game the ampount of team work required to actually succeed in a battle. especially one where all parties are honestly fighting, not running like little girls, Would simply be amazing.

    galleon v galleon,

    Sloop v sloop

    2 sloops v 2 sloops

    4 v4 galleons.

    Really I had a 4 weay galleon battle over a skull fort the other night and it was heart pounding. It was amazing. The team work, the surprise kegs in the water.

    I mean Seriously. the point is to bet gold. that would make it worth while and make it where it wont remove players from the base game because of the need for the gold to enter a skirmish....
    this being as team bsed as it is could be a seriously fun skirmish mechanicc/ Game

    Any thoughts, Dont tell me you dont have friends that you'd love to fight here!

    And to add to the pile. The supplies you start with, cost gold, so you can buy x balls, x kegs, x planks. These are only in this skirmish. BUT, if you loose, the winner gets the gold you spent too plus the gold you bet.

    its up to you as a team to say we arae willing to spend this much gold together, and it takes an equal amount from the entire crew.

    in a Free4All It could cost alot but the reward could be huge.

    Seriously, I think this would be something worth doing.
    Not to mention, the epic battles to be had!

    and since this is between two-four groups of people, and not a public matchmaking instance, it wont split the playerbase. A match will end and the teams will be spat back out into a regular server.

    We arent talking a PVP server here, and not a endless Matchmaking system running endless loops of matches.

    Hopefully an NPC in game that you talk to, to challenge another player.

    and that player then brings along the crew. Maybe a minimum of 5g's to to battle?

    Like a fee, to allow your Galleon into these waters is 5gs, that the crew would all have to vote yes on...

    Some way to really tie it into the game world. I dont want there to be a time when players are split completely, and making sure these are challenges will allow

    Clans to have an actual skirmish!
    Players to test their crews!

    Really any number of reasons to do this. again

    I'm not sold on the rest of it but I'd like to see something simple like a challenge emote. You use it on them, they respond with it, you get a quick UI to bet gold (or bet 0 if you're doing it for fun), then you try to kill each other like civilized people. Also allow people to use it to challenge people on their crew. Once the duel is done, you go back to no friendly fire.

    @khol-thndrwlkr not at all what I mean, I mean for ship to ship combat....

    Who would want to p vp on foot in a game like this...

    To answer your question though, I would use PVP on foot. My friend and I would totally use this to screw around pick an island place a bet and then hunt each other down.

    @khol-thndrwlkr I can see where that would be fun too. a duel.

    Im saying though, you challenge and they accept, you set the conditions, and it spits you out in a small dedicated server for the fight, when its over, youre spat out into a regular server

    Maybe dueling on the ship could helpthe crew pass the time too though!!!!

    But not Splitting PVP and PVE into seperate playing fields. Just a way to have a showdown between to ships, and then back to the normal game.

    I would stop playing this game is they split the playerbase

    @rav1lan no, Im not, Im lookint for a way for my crew to face my buddies crew.... We all play in discord together but not together.

    I also play Wolrd of Warahips, and thats not even remotely close to what this is... I mean not even close....
