maybe It's a funny idea to add some VooDoo to the game.
So we don't have Mana but maybe it would be an idea to add "cursed gold". Just a transfer, maybe with additional incredients, of the "normal gold".
Some ideas of "Spells":
- raise own skeletons which helps in fights for x seconds
- curse enemy players with random chance to curse friendly players :P
- invoke the Kraken :D
- Conjure good weather / bad weather / wind in direction of the ship ... :-/
- poison bananas in a barrel (ship/island)
- Voodoo Dolls
Maybe it will be an better idea to add spells that are completly not usable @ PVP idk.
