Day 4 and still cant launch the game :( HELP!

  • So. to start off Idd like to say that ive played the betas, never had much issue. The past 4 days have been stressful as I just hit one dead end after another. I have the latest windows update and have the latest NVidia driver, yes im on PC and ive uninstalled and re-installed the game on 4 separate occasions over the last 4 days.

    Secondly I can say that my rig exceeds the recommended requirements to play the game. And YES I HAVE SUBMITTED A TICKET and YES I HAVE TRIED ALL 4 FIXES the devs have put out.

    Now... with that said i'm just trying to get some help from the community, I've been googling my event viewer errors and info and warnings. From what I can tell theres 2 certificates that for some reason cant renew that may be causing this error. This is the event log of an error detailing those certificates that are expired and cannot be renewed.
    event id: 10016

    The most troublesome error specifically lists starting up Sea of Thieves
    event id: 1001

    Unable to start a DCOM Server: Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.74.9691.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!AthenaClientShipping as Unavailable/Unavailable. The error:
    "1753"

    I've done what I can on my own trying to trouble shoot and fix this, and i know theres so many of you with a greater knowledge on this than myself. Ive been at my wits end for 4 days now.... HALP! :)

    (edit: I know the dev team is super hard at work on the main issues plaguing the game so i know it will be weeks before they get to my support ticket, im not sure i can make it that long without harboring unwanted hatred for this game and dev team because i know theyre working hard endlessly. I thankyou dev team, just looking for some other perspectives on the issue on my hands specifically)

  • Maybe make a 50gb partition on your main drive.Install win10 on it from scratch(dual boot)and install game on that partition.I think that will solve your issue.
