It would be nice to have the option to see what players are in the lobby and show in your recent play with list. There has been instances were I'd like to send a message to someone about our recent encounter or send friend request but if you don't know their exact gamer tag that's hard to do. Or even check if you have friends in your current lobby to meet up somewhere.

I would be ok with this if there is a required must be on the server for 10 minutes before showing the list. I think what would happen would be friends all looking to team up would just lobby hop until they found their friends game and then join in. It would cause some severe issues with the server stability balance.
It’d just be another tool players can use to manipulate the play experience.
For instance, I can battle it out at a fort and my crew just take the key and hide somewhere.
The enemy crew can continue to hang by the fort or actively look for us knowing that we are still in the same session just by checking the list. As it is now they have to actually see/find us to know we are in the game.Someone can server hop and quickly check the client list to stalk/hunt down a streamer just to harass or mess with em. This also extends to potential regular people who recognize and remember enemy player G-Tags.
With a client-list, people can also use it to check if they are in a empty server to quickly hunt for uncontested active skull forts. Or players looking to harass other players can quickly hunt for a busy server full of potential victims.
