Would love to see a flag pole on ships or some islands.
To raise colors or the black would be an amazing and true historical way to show yourself on the seas.
To have people uploading images would take a lot of space up.
So maybe having different country’s flags, and possibly a flag editor to make your own pirate black flag to be feared.

I feel like we would see a lot of immature flag from p***s land if people were able to upload their own image.
So maybe a flag tailor in a shop on some outposts.
Therefore you can buy and edit flags in game.
One more idea:
To be able to cut enemy flags down to take them as victorious trophies.
So later on you can see how many ships and crews you’ve taken.

I like the idea of collecting their flag, as a time marker and type of vessel it came from.
I really hope that flag customization comes at launch!

I’m sure there will always be a way around to make a d**k if you want.
But having an editor, rather an an image upload would prolly prevent that much more from happening.
Almost like a halo 2 emblem editor style but you go to the shop at the outpost to buy a style of flag then customize the emblem.
I’m thinking like they give you shapes and premade skulls and bones or whatever to use in multiple layers.
Either way your bound to run into silly s**t or some b****s flags.
@xbreadbutterx That's what I'm talking about. A lot of MMO games give you a tailor you can go to with limited stuff to create your flag. That way you don't get anything bad like you see on FPS.
