Which Trading Company is going to be 'your' company?

    I'm interested to see what people's preferences are here. In the beta, we were all diggers for the Gold Hoarders, but upon release, we're going to have 2 extra quest giving options open to us. What are we all looking forward to trying out?

    Personally, I'm looking forward to the Merchant Alliance... I'd like to become a shipping legend. A smuggler and blockade runner- moving from here to there with cargo as efficiently as I can... But, on trying all 3, my tastes might be completely different, of course!

    Also, another question: Do you see yourselves focusing on just one trading company to get all of it's gear/ commendations or progress through a mixture simultaneously?

    That's a good question... Right now I would say the Order of Souls because fighting various "dead" pirate captains seems fun.

    But to be honest, I can already see myself completing all the voyages for everyone, so... That's that :)

    Hi there, for now i will say i will try to max out all of them, meaby after the hands on my goals will change but for now thats what i have planned to do :)

    Do you want to go sailing? A Merchant Alliance contract will reward you for that... Fancy some treasure digging? Gold Hoarders... In a fighty moog? Order of Skulls...
    I reckon most people will progress with all of the companies... I look forward to sampling tham all... Think I'll like the merchants tho... ;D

    Agreed. I think that will be the company that lets you get out & around the map easiest... Players that are less inclined to pvp & fighting might gravitate to the merchants more too- but that's just a guess...

    i will see what makes the most fun for me ,n what gives the most gold, n idk upgrades.

    in the betas i made mostly gold hoarders voyages,was not a huge fan of the oreder of souls.enjoyed the gold hoarders

    I will mix it up a bit depends what the crew I have joined want as well I would suggest a vote as some crew members may prefer soul/over gold /or mer so I think I would try most unless you could chose in matchmaking play style which might put you on a crew with same objectives

    I'll be doing all 3 but the main company I'd like more is the Order if Souls, some spooky stuff right there.

    Ill do all 3, cause i think that will be more efficient.
    I mean: if I am doing a gold hoarder voyage, ill probably going to run in to some chickens, pig's or other trading goods on my way. then i can just pick up another merchant voyage, or my crew mate can already hold it and finish 2 voyage at once.

    Gonna filled the crows nest with chickens and one gunpowder barrel ;) no one gets my loot

    Knowing my history in other games my choice is likely to be a combination of cosmetics available, lore and equipment available... I’m a shallow pirate so I be.

    I'll go for the Order of Souls first, then the Gold Hoarders and finally the Merchant Alliance. I hope I can get all the cosmetics from them.

    Plan on doing all, but my real dedication will be to the Order, because I'm going to be wanting all the spooky gear I can get, I hope to become the ghost ship that every pirate fears on the horizon!

    I imagine it will be whatever is the most fun to do solo. :) So probably taking skulls from skeletons.

    I am going to follow suit here and go with the Order as my first guild but just like previous comments, I will also work on the remaining two once Orders is done.

    Makes no difference to me, one fetch mission is just like the next. Personally I think most players will burn through them all real quick and start wishing there was more to do.

    Will do them all to get my money's worth from the game of course, I'll most likely enjoy the merchant quests more though.

    Unless the game is terminally boring after a couple dozen hours, I'm sure I'll max them all out eventually. However, Gold Hoarders will be my primary focus, as I think they are the truest to what being a pirate is about - gettin that paper.
