Who is the best Racing mascot for a spin-off?

If there was an Xbox version of that famous 64-bit Retro Racetrack game, who would make the best mascot? Banjo&Kazooie, Yooka&Laylee, Rextro, Spyro the Dragon, Timber the Tiger, Tiptup the Turtle, Grunty the Witch? Who would make the best mascot to replace the iconic Chimp owned by Xbox's competitor?
I say the DS version of the game could really work well as a template for a remake or remaster. Although it would be cool to see Rareware's DS games made available somehow, an Xbox Backbone might work as a substitute for the dual screen console. Back to the topic.
