Additional Hourglass Improvements

  • Have you ever sank because the person you were going against in hourglass boarded you after they lost the fight and killed you before you were able to grab those buckets? It can be frustrating that people are able to take you down with them, especially since doing so gains them nothing. It takes way too long for people to despawn after losing in hourglass.

    My proposal is this, when committing to hourglass, your "soul" gets bound to the hourglass itself, so if the hourglass gets destroyed, you die the second it explodes or sinks. You could even have a cool animation that shows you binding your soul to the hourglass.

    My second option is an auto repaired ship after you win the fight, I personally prefer the first option, however it would give the winner a fighting chance in a third party situation.

    Third option, just make the time to despawn after a loss shorter.

    I feel this happens to many newer players trying to experience hourglass and can be quite frustrating, if yall have thoughts or ideas feel free to put them. This was just something ive been thinking about for some time and wanted to throw my thoughts into the void.

  • Yep, especially with intro of guaranteed supps the tactical part of trying to deny other player from surviving has gone and it is now pure pettiness.

    No..Because I know the fight isnt over until that ship is fully gone. Now being boarded by another enemy? who wasnt in the fight, yes. :P

    It can be frustrating that people are able to take you down with them, especially since doing so gains them nothing.

    If im going down, your going down...and what they gain. Is you losing...everything.
