Right now, solo and duo matches are basically unplayable because after a short while you run into cheaters with a machine‑gun and have absolutely no chance to do anything. Honestly… I don’t even know what to say.
Update on cheaters
@geo-dmt see my post from earlier today. I agree with you, and gave some suggestions for how to fix it and in the meantime make resetting not as bad. hope they see these and make it better. Duo HG is the only reason I still play the game.
Yeah, 2 friends of mine did HG today, matched against a duo using a particular spot at Daggartooth to make their ship unsinkable (despite Drew saying this was patched, it's really not), and has a clip of him sniping one of them 2 times in a row (opponent just stands there), and he doesn't die while not eating. The 2 players had less than 12hrs played, so they were obviously alts.
This is why hourglass to me, just isn't worth it outside of community weekends.
