So I was going through the "Treasures Sold to The Reaper's Bones" milestone and noticed that there were a half dozen treasure items listed with the 'Season 11' tier of Gold Hoarders loot that I had zero turn-ins for.
I figured I'd cross-reference the "Treasures Sold to The Gold Hoarders" milestone to see how many I'd turned in to them instead of the Reapers, only to find out that these same six treasure items were not listed there at all.
A quick visit to the Sea of Thieves wiki didn't turn up any info, pictures or references for these items either! Has anybody here seen, found or sold the following items at any point during their time on the seas?
-- Commander's Chest / Ashen Commander's Chest
-- Lord's Chest / Ashen Lord's Chest
-- Bringer of Light / Keeper of Embers
The first two are obviously treasure chests; presumably some kind of variants of the Admiral's / Baron's / King's / Sea Master's / Sailor's Chests released in season 11.
The last one I swear I have some kind of vague memory of being a candelabra/candlestick-type trinket treasure and it's ashen variant that I dug up randomly in a chest but haven't seen since early 2024 during season 11 when the new loot was released.
Do these sound familiar to anyone else? Or maybe just a remnant placeholder that Rare had removed ages ago...
