Add Mediterranean/Ottoman Corsair Outfits Inspired by Real History

  • Dear Sea of Thieves Team,

I’m a big fan of the game and love customizing my pirate’s appearance to reflect different seafaring cultures throughout history.

I would like to suggest adding Mediterranean and Ottoman corsair-inspired outfits to the game, based on historical figures like Barbarossa Hayreddin Pasha, Piri Reis, Turgut Reis, and Oruç Reis, who were famous naval captains in the 16th-century Mediterranean.

These legendary corsairs had distinctive clothing styles:

    Headwraps or turbans

    Sashes and wide belts

    Long tunics or short jackets

    Loose trousers or shalwar

Mediterranean color palettes (red, dark blue, white, gold accents)

These additions would enrich the cultural diversity of pirate styles in Sea of Thieves while honoring a significant part of naval history that fits the pirate theme perfectly.

Thank you for considering this idea. It would be amazing to sail the seas with a Mediterranean corsair look in Sea of Thieves!

    Best regards,
    Xumart
