Alright, so I haven't played in a year, mostly cuz I didn't really feel like it, but I've been getting SoT shorts in my feed, so it's been making me want to play, and I messaged my friend if he wanted to play, he said he could if he could find his disc, but I hopped on yesterday to relearn the game, and NGL, I was very surprised by the new stuff, like the grapple gun is fun, those skeletons you can dig up are really useful, and I didn't mess around with the blowdart yet.
I hopped onto my sloop, saw a bounty chest, went for it, someone joined, then they left, a FOF went up, then another dude left, and he stayed. He was chill, wanted doubloons like me, so he was fine with us getting the bounty chest. After we sold the chest we went to the FOF, did it with help from a skeleton named Morley, who's probably still there guarding the island LOL. And when we opened the vault, there was not 1, not 2, not 3, but 14 ASHEN ATHENA CHESTS! My comrade said it was probably because of a glitch involving an ashen winds, the FOF, and collision between items. We raced to get them onto the ship just in case someone rolled up on us and ran our pockets.
As we were sailing to dagger tooth my comrade made a spread out of our treasure, which I will include a pic of at the end, and we put them in front of the mysterious stranger for another screenshot, which I'll also include at the end. We made like 500k off of it with a lvl 1 Athena emissary.
My comrade then showed me a pet glitch you can do with your pets where you go to the crows nest with your pet in your hand, and you fall down and as soon as you take damage you go back onto the ladder and then let go, and here's what happened: Doggo stretched and went horizontal and his face looked like the dad's from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, monkey went small, diagonally up, and was teleporting, and owl stretched and went into my chest, and if you jump while the owl is glitched it goes back to normal but then 2 seconds later it slides back to be glitched.
We then did some guild shenanigans, but overall it was a fun session considering I haven't played in a year.
