@der3chtefly Answer: likely not as to not diminish the impact the burning blade has as a world event.
I imagine it will be unlikely to happen if at all. In my opinion, it really does depend on how the servers cope with the burning blade on them. If Rare have to spend weeks trying to make sure it actually not lag the servers into crashing, the chances are they won't add the man o war, but if it's ok, then prehaps there is a higher likelihood of a man o war being added
The galleon is the least common ship seen in organic play so I dunno how it would even be worth considering.
and that's before getting to all the server/performance issues
I guess they could HG battle but it would be a giant flop in organic play imo. I see nothing to suggest otherwise. Especially now that the game is back to being so non-competitive outside of HG. It's massive overkill in a game where the brig is even overkill in random adventure.
So many experienced players ended up going to sloops specifically because it's the only way to create a challenge in SoT at higher experience/performance levels.
and a LOT of players aren't gonna be in a situation to crew that boat and keep it crewed
