"Have you ever wanted to become an Ashen Lord? What better opportunity than Season 13?
Upon pledging your allegiance to Flameheart before his statue on his ship, your pirate will begin to transform. You will look at your hands and see the skin flaking away, revealing the scorched bone that lies beneath. You will grow to the size of an Ashen Lord, and will gain the abilities of one. Rather than bullets or blades, you will have two new weapons to cycle through: your hands and your fire breath.
However, if you so much as touch the open ocean, you will take damage as your burning heart is extinguished. If you wish to board another vessel, you will need to get close enough to jump on without touching the water. You will also need a way back to the Burning Blade, as your powers will begin to fade upon stepping off the vessel. You will completely lose them if the boat succumbs to its wounds and falls beneath the waves.
Only one member of your crew may become an Ashen Lord, to avoid being too overpowered. This will either be the captain of the ship, or the crew will have another way of picking (I'll leave that one to Rare). You will not have the same health as one either, but much less (still more than a normal pirate) to make it more fair. A pirate may splash you with water to hurt/stun you and temporarily weaken your powers, to give an opening for attack. Other limitations/benefits may apply."
