There are many reasons why an island could be a sinking island. It might be floating debris... Or it might be like in old legends where an island forms on the back of a titan turtle, or a giant whale.
There could be a lot of challenge with that new type of island that would be a new biome beyond volcanic islands.
These could even be moving islands that you mightn't awlays encounter on a server.
I wish there were winter islands too. That's like an all-round videogame classic. Like... Glaciers with geysers and slides.
Imagine a volcanic sinking winter island. lol
