Instead of using discord or xbox community groups to find guilds, there should be an option to search guilds by tags i.e: "spanish language, casual guild, pve focused guild" so there is an easier way for people to play with each other by preference . I thought of this specially because of the language thing, as it is very rare for me to find someone who speaks my language just by playing open crew.

I would get a kick out of following along as the organic style meg hunters get out there and do their thing.
Like some map where people could show their milestone stuff like meg kills and I could follow guild's kills with x's on the map and such. Would be awesome.
@wolfmanbush this is why I wish you could be in more than 3 guilds. Like 5-7 is the sweet spot. You can be in two big vague ones to network and try out several small niche ones and still have one for just buddies.

Typically their intention is to revisit/expand stuff and it often doesn't happen
I do think guilds have a better chance than most content though as it's much more in their vision of how they see community in the game. Something they have long been consistent on is that they want that we shall sail together networking kinda thing.
Obviously that's difficult in a hostile pirate environment but this guild thing is likely their most realistic chance at it, so hopefully they do keep building on it.
Way better chance of success with guilds than just having people go out there on a server by server basis trying to find cooperation for a common server goal during an event.

I would agree, but with the 24 person limit guilds are going to be full of players that never join the guilds crews and allowing people to be in more would make that worse.
3 is a good number. A person can be in a personal aka vanity guild plus 2 more, maybe a PvP and a PvE guild.
@foambreaker that’s how I’ve joined my 3:
- PvP/HG sweat lord crazy nuts.
- Chill casuals.
- More serious make the gold get the job done have a fight etc.
Nice balance of all 3.
@wolfmanbush I think the push for faction idealogy is a good way to get people more into cooperative mindset. It does kind of make people more hostile to the "other" group though so it's hard to keep that friendly.
