Chest of Fortune question

    I searched around for some answers and either no one has brought it up or I'm not looking hard enough. Either way, I was hoping to get some clarification on something.

    Friends and I before the last reset were grinding out Gold Hoarders Emissary value, mainly going for FoF, we only ever sold at grade 5 and it was usually later at night that we would sell (EST timezone) and for some reason we would occasionally get 75k for the Chest of Fortune instead of 50k. As far as I know that's well past the Gold Rush time. Am I missing something here?

    sounds like some may have been a typical gold rush hour and some might have been during a gold and glory weekend

    @wolfmanbush we we're getting 100k for them during the gold and glory weekend (this past one at least) though. And as far as gold rush for EST its noon and 8pm, which is hours before we sell for the night usually

    @isteerboat Was it not during the second Gold Rush?

    First one is early afternoon and the second one is later in the evening (1pm and 9pm EDT if my timezone maths are correct?)

    @triheadedmonkey well, on one hand I could be absolutely not paying attention to the time and we could've definitely sold during gold rush hour, but on the other hand we generally hold onto all of our loot until we log off for the night which is far past that time. I also may or may not have known for some time that there were TWO seperate times for gold rush 😗. But at this point now that I'm thinking about it I may have just wasted a post lol

    @isteerboat sounds like you caught the second gold rush or someone at Rare sat on the boost gold button the moment you sold then panicked and turned it off again 🤣
