What happens to your ship when you leave the game captaining your boat?

    It's the most basic question, I get it, I'm curious what happens though. You have high loot on your boat, per say, and someone rides up and sinks your ship. You leave in the act of rage because they use the meta or whatever.

    1. Does leaving before you sink count as "sunk" on your ship record?
    2. Does your loot become unclaimed so they don't get a steal? As in they take it and they don't get anything for themselves other than coin?

    Scuttle, leave game, sinking all count as a sink. Very similar to hitting a skelly ship in the fleet battle and leaving the area and getting the "ship scuttled" alert lol.

    Loot is still touched by another crew first so it counts as a steal.

    To break an item from being "stolen" you have to bury it and post the map to a map board.

    Just take the sink, forget about the loot. You'll get more later on.
