Dismissed developers,
What do you think about adding a personal island for each player? This is the place where the player could build a house for himself and invite friends. Resources for building will need to be purchased from special merchants in the adventure. Such an update would add creativity to the game, which would attract a large audience, and seasoned pirates would rekindle interest.
This will not affect the main game if you make such islands in a separate world.
Safe house
If it were completely separate I don't really have an issue with it.
This is sea of thieves not sims so it would have to be basic to avoid taking too much focus off the shared experience and environment but it could work.
I would just make it like a pirate profile so instead of seeing basic info and a pic it would take a person to their pirate profile where people could organize it and peacock how they want.
I think it would be a good investment. Selfishly I'd rather they work on stuff like this than to continue tinkering with the adventure environment in ways that I'm not much into anymore.
This kind of stuff serves a lot of people and it doesn't harm anything
@wolfmanbush
mean something like safe house in payday2 but with the possibility of construction. It does not affect the gameplay, but it is a good place for parties and for spending money@whit6w01f said in Safe house:

but if people had their own little island or pirate lodge to work on purely as a pirate profile type of thing it should be of use in this game. Imo you're asking for too much out of it.
using it as more of a profile would allow us to voluntarily get to know each other better with unique design without separating anyone from the game.
the gold could be used for random stuff still
@galactic-geek lol not exactly the type of trap house I had in mind but a spooky/horror setting actually could be a good idea...
And Rare could even keep it Disney-ish by having it be a Haunted Mansion-esque pirate experience.
