So about a month ago, I tried to optimize windows for performance in another heavy game to get as much FPS as possible and I ended up disabling a lot of features in windows and I'm pretty sure that's the root of the problem. Whenever I try to use the invite friend option in the lobby right after you pick a ship, the box doesn't pop up. Yes I know this is a bit of a FWP but this still bugs me nonetheless since I rely on this option to invite my friends to my crew.
At first, I thought it was my game bar setting that wasn't working and after a few days, I finally managed to get my game bar working! Only to discover that it was unrelated since it didn't fix my problem. So I'm unsure of what app I need to re-enable to fix this setting. I'm pretty sure it's something in windows though.
I doubt anyone else has had this problem, so I've come here as a sort of last attempt at trying to get this fixed.
