No boarding sounds anymore?

    Are the boarding sounds not a thing anymore? Got boarded by someone. That person definitly used the ladder to get on board but didn't hear any swimming and no splashing sound when they got on the ladder.

    If they aren't moving when they grab the ladder (like they moved into position and let your ship come to them) they usually won't make a ladder grab sound.

    where you firing a cannon another he could have boarded is from the harpoon that's a exploit that needs to be fixed but if he got on that way that that's why there was no sound

    @closinghare208 Wasn't the harpoon because i was behind the wheel and didn't see anybody boarding using. Also my buddy was next to one. I noticed the guy who boarded was fired out of a cannon but there was no shot sound from the cannon either. They might have boarded without swimming but it was highly unlikely given the position of our ship. Edit; we weren't firing the cannon

    If you don't wanna make noise when grabbing ladder. You grab it from underwater. This use to work or maybe I've just been doing it forever.

    As far as not hearing them swim. To make it a bit more silent at least with a controller just push as lightly as possible foward

    You can hold the slow/sneak button and grab ladder and not make as much noise, still a noise, but often drowned out by wave crash against ship.

    sounds glitches happen all the time and some people are pretty good at stealth boarding

    also sometimes you can hit waves just right to where when you grab the ladder you are already at the top so it's a very quick thing you wouldn't hear much
