Looking for Group not region based

    Hello,

    I keep getting parties with 200+ Ping and its unplayable for me. I press buttons when I see the icon on my screen but nothing happens untill I press it again making me miss moments to board people, shoot properly etc.

    It is because I cannot filter regions on the XBOX Looking For Group thing. I can pick a language, but I am fine talking english as I am not from america/UK myself.

    How do I fix this or has it never been added ?

    And why can people make groups for ''Xbox only'' ? its quite discriminating as 6/10 parties ask xbox only. I haven't seen a single PC only party.

    @masterpost The best thing you can do is to create your own LFG asking for players from your geographic region, and then invite them to your game. When you load into a game yourself, instead of joining one, the SOT servers should try to match you with the best option for your region.

    I did but no one responded,waited for 10 minutes, remade it and no one joined

    @masterpost It's because of a skill gap between Xbox and PC players. Rare put in an option for Xbox only so Xbox players have a better chance in their own servers.

    I understand, but it feels like 90% of the players looking for group are on xbox. and no one wants a PC player in their crew. Non the less, they will encounter PC players in the session they joined. So.... whats the point ? There isn't. If there is, give me a valid reason/argument. At least give yourself the benefit to have a PC player in your crew for those well aimed sniper shots.

    @masterpost That's not always true, Xbox players have an option to 'opt-out' of playing with PC players meaning that they will join a server with only other Xbox users. If they had a PC player within their crew then they would not be able to opt-out and would be put in the cross platform servers.

    But then yet again we're way off-topic.
    When I do join people, I have over 200 Ping and its unplayable.
    Why cant people only search for europe or USA groups ?

    As to your other point about location based search, I would suggest joining a discord community where you would be able to find a crew which better suits you geographically speaking.

    Microsoft does it for XBox, not Rare - all the LFG stuff is done through the XBox ecosystem which is terrible. PC players have more choice, and most have migrated to Discord channels because it offers a superior experience which is why you will not find very many PC groups on XBox LFG.

    Dude, Xbox is owned by microsoft. You have to understand that you need to run a program in order to connect to xbox machines.
    Its like, buying a game on steam and u need steam to play online.

    Discord on the other hand has nothing to do with this, its a communication software program.

    @masterpost If you're looking for people to play with in a specific time zone then your options are limited to what is available. You can make a post in the suggestions and feedback section of the forums asking for server region options to be added.

    I know all that - I don't know what it has to do with what I said. The LFG setup is provided by Microsoft, not Rare, and it is terrible which is why no one on PC uses it.
