I get 8 quests from a voyage. 6 out of 8 of those give me reputation towards my Athena's emissary status (in some form or another).
The 2 that don't are the cargo deliveries. This leads me to just picking up the cargo and dropping it in front of the NPC.
Does anyone actually take the time to deliver the cargo? To me it feels redundant, like a wall in the way of getting level 5 emissary and furthermore the Chest of Legends.
Not really especially when the delivery is not even in the same continuity of other locations to go to. If it’s on the way to one sure.
Most of the time the bottles and silk get destroyed by the storm, Kracken, skelly ghost ships, meg, or other players before they get delivered so I don’t deal with the hassle to try.
If they don’t get packed in crates or straw for the harsh environment to prevent damage from happening why bother. It’s a 2 hour grind to get it done with the pvp and pve.
Last night had 2 reaper emissary on the board at the same time at 3 different periods. Got tired of being chased around finally run one of em off the game.
In the end the reward for delivery isn’t worth trying to get the cargo there.
