Server load times and lag

Since this last update to fix the the “searching for seas” issue, my load times have become horrendous. When I load into a game now it takes at least 120 seconds to get through searching for seas. I play on Xbox one x with and ssd and have never had load time issues. On top of that the game has been rubber banding everywhere lately. I thought it was my side and contacted my ISP as well as reset all my devices and internet. This is certainly sea of thieves side and I’m wondering if anyone is experiencing this issue. The game has been almost unplayable since the hotfix a few days ago.
