Emissary multipliers are still broken.

    Several people on the SOT discord have pointed out that emissary multipliers are put on your cut from alliances. It's also common knowledge that you get 50% of the gold and rep that alliance members sell for. Knowing those two things, you can easily make 32, 812 gold from a single ashen athena chest.

    A high roll for an ashen athena is 10, 500 gold.

    If you're in an alliance with a grade v athena emmisary and they get a high roll, they'll get 26, 250 gold. Your cut is 50%, so 13, 125.

    But, if you're in a grade v athena emmisary, you get the 2.5x multiplier again, making the total gold you get come out to 32 812 off of a single ashen athena that you didn't even sell and you make more gold than the alliance.

    Tested it. Alliance member at Grade 5 Gold Hoarder sold a mermaid emerald. I got 750 out of it. You don´t get half of his multiplied reward, but half of what the item would be worth without emissary status. Having YOUR emissary multiplier applied to this seems fair, as it only happens if you are doing the very same emissary at the moment.

    Are only the Athena items counting for Emissary Athena Value ? Or maybe other kind of items ?

    @commodoremerlin Ah, perhaps they've fixed it in that latest patch. I've yet to test it since then.

    This would also encourage Alliances between Emissaries rather than discourage, which currently Alliances between same-faction Emissaries are discouraged via current mechanics unless you are on an Alliance Server.

    @ssoggycereal I tested it even before the update. Never has been the case.
    I guess what you heard was a theory, but nothing someone actually tested.
