Obsidian Fishing Rod

    Hope everyone’s been enjoying 12 days of Christmas so far!

    I’ve been playing occasionally and always made use of the daily Advent Calendar emails to see what’s going on each day.

    But I’m kinda salty, for we weren’t informed the Obsidian Fishing Rod was available one day. It’s not listed like the other items each day, so players like myself missed out.

    I hope there are other opportunities to obtain it because I’ve been collecting ALL Blackdog, Obsidian, and Midnight items as time has progressed and this is the only item i’ve missed so far.

    Here’s a screen shot of the 12 Days Advent Calendar, notice how Mercenary Items have been listed, but the Obsidian Fishing Rod wasn’t mentioned during Hunters Call x2 event.

    Yeah I understand that, but Rare has my email address for customer communication and sends daily, 12 days of Christmas notifications for the cool Advent Calendar and that’s been my gauge for what’s going on.

    It should have also been communicated there just like Twitter, which I didn’t see until days later. I.E all notifications for the events per day should be the same customer message across all media channels.

    I would have logged in and participated for some Fishing that day had it been known.

    But like other Obsidian items, I hope there’s another opportunity to obtain it in the future.

    I watched 30 minutes of captains falcore stream yesterday and I didn't get the obsidian fishing rod. How long will it take to go to my equipment

    If all the above is true, then...

    The item should show up in your equipment chest the next time you log into your account.

    @musicmee I have no twitch drops and my accounts are linked. I've logged in numerous times

    Same for me, I have both my accounts linked and I'm also not seeing any drops.
