I think that @Rare should add to the game that in the vanity chest you can change your Pirate skin color and that you can change your pirates fat size.

Hair colour, eye colour, tattoos, base scars, teeth, skin tone, size
All chosen at random, no real way to lock in a feature and if you loved one thing hated another it was too bad so sad.
All you can change now is hair color, and tattoos. You can apply scars but base scars are still there, or not depending on what you started with.
Everything else you're still at the mercy of RNG.
Hoping that they plan to allow us to reroll our pirates after the anniversary update launches.
Monster hunter world handled it well post launch. Once you made your character that was it, until several months later when they gave us for free a single use token to change our appearance again. I’d be more than happy if Rare decided to implemented it in a similar way.
The pirate generator was adequate but it wasn’t until some time after that I realised I wasn’t happy with my pirate. I chose the fastest pirate but the pirate generator doesn’t let you know that all clothes look ridiculous and warped on him. Even my pirates belly and shoulders glitch and clip through most clothes. On the IPG my pirate had a beard so it wasn’t until sometime later that I realised he had this massive pointy chin under it etc.
It’s not an unreasonable ask, let’s be honest here.
I always assumed that maybe this is what the much rumoured potion shop above the OoS tent would allow us to do. But we’ve not heard anything about that since launch.
I would like a character editor or the ability to change my character once per day or something. When I first chose my pirate, the selector screen at the beginning glitched out and the characters were mostly invisible to me. (clothes were floating but no actual character model was there) so I chose at random after waiting like 10 minutes for the stuff to load in but it never did.
Ended up selecting a woman, which doesn't represent me at all. And I didn't find out until I had already earned a bunch of gold and made some progress, so rerolling was sort of out of the question. Even more so now since I finally have some ship cosmetics.
So yeah, I'd like to change my character's appearance without losing all of my progress. The fact we CANT do that in this day and age, is kinda stupid if you ask me.

Because a "good one" is subjective, and a "good one" when it comes to RNG still usually ends with compromising on a few things because one was as close to "good" as you could get
I played the open beta and picked a oversized pirate and ended up hating it. So with that lesson learnt I spent a good 45+ minutes trying to find the perfect pirate when the game launched. In hindsight, that is ridiculous amount of time spent re-rolling randoms. There should be a character editor in a 2018/2019 game and because the clothes do look silly on the oversized pirates we should have the option to at least once change our pirates if not unlimitedly. However, if that's too hard for Rare to do then continue to focus on adding content but yeah this would be nice.
