Now that summit1g has every pre-teen and teen double-gunning can we please get the weapon switching/firing debounced? I asked for this and reported it as a bug the first week the game came out because I knew where it would go.
It is pretty standard practice in development and in electronics to debounce things that need a time-delay...and switching to a new weapon and firing it should, at the very least, require the time it takes to go through the weapon-swap animation.
If you have no idea what I am talking about:
Either debounce your weapon changes to kill the trend of hot-swapping or limit each pirate to their cutlass and one ranged weapon.
