Too bad I panicked and actually spent some more coin. I was looking for a particular jacket but bought the wrong one then found the right one at another outpost so I had to buy it too. I also shelled out for another new hat too.
Then I threw hundreds of doubloons at ship stuff.Last of the big spenders. :o)

Yeah, I always expected this to be a lowering of the prices, as opposed to a temporary sale, but everyone else I spoke to was so convinced otherwise - it made me wonder about it, but was never sure until today.
I think it is a very good thing. The prices aren't that low now... and they definitely started off rather high!
My only issue is the price of the Scurvy Bilge rat stuff. It didn't change at all. I can understand that they'd want to keep it higher-priced (since it requires no reputation unlocks), but they should have reduced the price by the same percentage as the rest.
(anyway, not a complaint, so much - just more of what I figure is a mistake/oversight/bug/mission/quest/thing).@personalc0ffee lol
