So I just logged in to be greeted with my awesome pirate as usual, jumped into the game, and found out that for some reason I am a different pirate than my own. What the-?
Please fix this, I hope I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

Ahoy there, thanks for posting and we do know there has been some issue around certain features of pirates after this patch - however to end up with a completely different pirate is a new one!
We'd definitely recommend heading over to Support with this one and it'll be interesting to hear if this has happened for any other pirates as well.

Not alone buddy. I can say I've seen it with the character my Wife plays. In her case, it was fixed by simply relaunching the game.
Others on a thread I created just today on the topic suggest the issue has been around since launch in one form or another.
I'd take the above advice, if you can share screenies of the event in a bug report filled out on the support page.

@satnsfavsuccubi This happened to me. Though it was my pirate with darker hair and everything (clothing/equipment) had reset back to sailor variant. Next time I logged in it was back to normal.
