Merchant stronghold item

    What if they had stronghold gunpowder barrels in the skullforts. That give a good chunk of merchant xp when turned in & have double the explosive capabilities of a standard gunpowder barrel. What do you guys think?

    I was reading this idea in a thread the other day as well. I think it would be a great addition but others brought up that the spice crates we get from the forts already give a lot of XP and gold.

    The idea of a specific stronghold item is great though!

    I think there should be a special trade good stronghold item like ivory or something. It would also be nice if there was a really rare loot item that gave a little bit of Athena rep.

    I like the idea of a stronghold merchant item, but I would have to disagree with the Athena’s item at a skullfort. I don’t feel gaining rep while not being a pirate legend should be something that’s in the game.

    I agree with the fact that people shouldn’t gain Athena rep before pirate legend but unfortunately that was compromised a very long time ago. I have met a handful of people at Athena 10 and not yet pirate legend and hundreds of others Athena 6-9 who are also not pirate legends. I’m not sure the system can be resurrected.
