Hello,
I've seen some talk about specific items being tied only to the first 2 weeks of THD's release and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which ones are those?
So far I've killed the Megalodon and obtained the Megalodon figurehead. Was this the limited time item, or is it something else?

Temporary: the megalodon figurehead, the 2 titles (one for completing the 3 diaries, one for killing the beast), the tattoos and the scars related to the megalodon killing.
The skin for the trumpet and the drum.
(This skins will disappear after 2 weeks and new and permanent will appear on the shops.)
Yep, once you complete the event and get all the items you get to keep those skins. We now have a conversation piece for later in the game when people pick it up and we can show it off.
I’m loving this! It’s kind of like a “we are glad you played with us at this point in the games development and hope you enjoy these unique looks from this event”.

@nunoazuldimeter Not true. IF you earned them you keep them. Acquiring them will disappear. But in two weeks time I will still ahve my shark bite skins on my drums and my scars and tattoos.

@edemardil No you do, he either does not know what he talking about or he is refering to acquiring them.
But if you have earned the skins and such. you get to keep them.

Oh I misunderstood them as being temporary items in that you win them but lose them after the event and I was like "What the f......." But I got you now.

Which is not true... Just acquiring them does.
I am still slightly confused. The way I understand it, is that whatever I have obtained, won't disappear; that is the skin for trumpet and the drums as well as the Megalodon figurehead.
Regarding the THD tattoo and the bite, I wonder why didn't we have to unlock it at the store. It was just given freely so it looks like it can easily be picked up by anyone months from now on, unless it just disappears for everyone.

You unlock it in your vanity chest.. after you killed the megalodon.. it's yours and won't disappear.
People who won't complete this quest in two weeks won't be able to get it after.
@nunoazuldimeter Aaah, that explains it then. I checked the chest after I was done with Megalodon so I didn't think that would've been the case.
