I play on a 1080ti 165hz gaming rig when i play seriously or when i want to chill i play on an xbox one x..
30fps on console + controller makes the game feel like you are carrying a chest of a thousand grogs at times.. It's not that console players "suck" it is just that KB+Mouse is just far better for control.. along with higher framerates.

Right I know of a couple hinderences.
Xbox controller mapping is woeful and slow to select.
Black Loading Screen leaving the FOD is approx x10 slower.
Max Sensitivity is capped.
Storage speeds are not good enough.
Frame rate is capped.
No spare buttons for effective button mapping. (players are mapping-over the VOIP for example which can affect game communication.
Reload and Shoot speed.
The 'Jumping Sword Lunge' is much, much harder to do on Xbox.
No Consta-run.
No Hacks or use of macros.
Can't spam Scuttle Ship to get a more favourable spawn location (..takes sooo much longer loading, on console)
Discord and general commication: (PC hear xbox, Xbox deaf to PC)
So there's a few pointers that severely hinder game enjoyment/success for Xbox users in the cross compatible game right now.
And RARE KNOW IT.
-they have the earning averages, score averages and figures.
@xixxo123 Which we've known since consoles first got FPS games.
Personally, I'm amazed Rare made it cross platform.. the console folk don't stand a chance in any FPS encounter.
To be fair, COD is an example of a FPS that players can rival PC quite easily.. It can be done just in very rare circumstances.

Here's what I know.
I worked in the games industry for just short of six years, on the sales and marketing side of thing. Previous to that I was a game tester for MS, Nintendo, and also various PC studios. I participated in two tests along side PC gamer magazine back in the mid 2ks. The M&K players destroyed the gamepad players.
There's probably a few matches out there that show the console teams winning, but I havent' seen more than two and they're so old I can't even find them with Google or YouTube

Mouse and keyboard is leagues and bounds ahead of ANYONE using a game-pad. But there is a harmony to be found in this kind of game...
I play the odd game of fortnite with my friends who all play on PS4, unbeknown to them they end up on PC servers because they are playing with me.. They all do reasonably well.. yes any decent player ruins them, but they do stand a decent chance in a 1v1 and they have won many games when i have died early..

@mudweller PC'ers can move much faster than xboxers and there are few other things that give them an upper hand so I guess thats why so many xboxers mind.
I had to fight a pc person who was moving extremely fast and I was luckily able to kill him so its not impossible just more difficult. I personally do not mind crossplay.

@xixxo123 Sure, but the less than 5% using a $600+ video card are far and few. In fact, I bet most are using a GTX 1060 equivalent or less. Yes 30fps is sickening when someone is used to 60fps+.
So in turn, if they had an xbox 60fps mode with uncapped stick sensitivity for controllers (or soon enough keyboard/mouse support for xbox), what else is there for folks to be upset about?
@DahkohtLewin That hardware comes at a huge price. Vid cards, CPUs, RAM age so quickly now, it's very expensive. If top-tier gaming means that much to people no prob i'm ok with it, i'm just stating it definitely costs to be on top for 2 years max.

@rarden I believe there is a mega-thread about cross-play, maybe that is the place to join in the discussion about it rather than have several threads about the same subject, just an idea.
