It's called Sea of Thieves, not Sea of Friends. If you're one of those people who have been complaining about the unfriendly acts of other crews, then you have purchased the wrong game. We can expect slight improvements such as spawn distance to be added to the game, but asking that the entire foundation of the game be changed just to fit your idea of what the game should be is unacceptable. No, we will not get PvE servers. No, we do not feel bad that a crew attacked you while you were innocently docked at an outpost. You were playing a MULTIPLAYER PIRATE GAME, alone, at the MAIN FOCAL POINT for loot and almost every PvP battle, and you are upset that you were attacked and someone took the loot?
How could you be so ignorant to ignore most basic mechanic in this game? The whole point of this game is to find/steal treasure.

@admiral-tweedle This game is pretty well balance so the fact that bigger crew will generally win. Also I don't think they count as grievers, because that's a genuine hyena strategy, waiting until the fight is over to claim the prize. However if they kept your ship afloat to keep spawn killing you all while taunting you with the key... Then that would make them grievers...

At the end of the day, it's a lesson you have to learn. Don't do a skeleton fort in a sloop and not expect a galleon to show up haha

Right when I killed the boss they jumped me and took the key.
Only by joining a team of griefers is there any chance of winning.
Left the server and joined another only to be griefed again.
Logged out until they fix the game.

Penalties should be added against players that continue to grief.
Occasionally ban players that want to ruin the fun for others.
Sloops should have an equal chance against Galleons.
Toxic players are going to be all that's left in 2 months.

PS: That's not griefing, that's smart play and normal pvp from the galleon. When you saw the galleon there, you should've known that's not your fort anymore unless you sink them first. Next time grab key, hide key, run and come back later. This game really isn't Indiana Jones on the sea or Sail Simulator 2018. It's a pirate game, it's only your treasure if you manage to sell it, until then ... it's everyone's treasure.

Honestly they should take out voyages or PVE. After watching a few games my wife was playing the past few days and every time they had a galleon roll up on them and me and her were playing our very first quest of merchant had 5 animals and guess what a galleon wanted to sink us in which case they succeeded to bad animals are not worth anything if their not turned in as part of a voyage but I was pretty mad to find out that you can’t even do a stupid merchant voyage without someone wanting to troll you so I did what any reasonable pirate would do I got onto their galleon and killed each of them about 6 times a piece before I had my wife powder barrel the galleon to sink it.

That does suck that happened to you. But what do you expect when trying to solo a fort of course there gonna gang up on you it's 4v1.

@sawhix I don’t think so it’s annoying and a complete waste of time and for the first time I didn’t want to play the game and still don’t today.

@sawhix if they wasn’t scrubs I never would’ve gotten that far but I’m positive they were all fairly new to the game.

thats not griefing, don't play alone, play smart. They stole your stuff, that's not griefing.

Next time, be more careful and anyway you can sink galleons even with the sloop! "Sometimes I play with the sloop"

Griefing... It happened to me about 5-6 times. Guess what ? I have done the same thing with a 3-4 man Gallion group to ! It is a strat or u can call it bad luck. I know it sucks but please just get on with it.

Everyone knows that this game has a PvP apect to it, so keep it in your mind.
If u ever feel save in this game... YOU have to change your mindset !

@admiral-tweedle That's PvP not griefing, you said yourself you were alone, that's the risk you take, it didn't pay off.. Soloing is challenging enough doing pvE don't expect to be able to do a fort solo, if you do it's really lucky.
