I have been playing sea since launch, and just now heard about the limited edition controllers. How are they already all sold out and only being sold on Amazon for triple the normal price? Why would they allow a person to buy more than 1-2? Some people bought hundreds and now it's monopolized?

@irhcsajr Pretty safe. Shipments take a long time, though, unless you pay high prices for fast shipping. And then there's potential tariffs on top in your country plus taxes. Buy from US? The weak dollar makes everything even more expensive. The SoT controller retails for 70 €. Secure and tracked shipping to the US with DHL is 38 €. 108 € = 133 $. And then your local expenses on top.
In Germany you can buy them directly from Microsoft. Maybe you can use a service like borderlinx to ship it to the US.
