I am having very annoying issues with sea of thieves. Usually in games I get solid 144-200 fps, however in Sea of Thieves I get roughly 30-50 fps. I am playing with a 165 hz monitor, so this is pretty annoying.. During the beta and the alpha everything was fine, so I find this really strange too.
I don't know whats causing the lag, I have pretty good specs, any suggestions of what I should try to fix it?

32gb ram

@grimlertherat my only question is why your running SLI 1080s with a i7-5930k. Clearly u have money to upgrade. But as far as fixing it, I think it's just a problem with the game right now. Mine runs at 90ish on a 1070 and a i5-8400 at 1440p. With the settings the option below the highest it runs at like 200

I've a i7-7700k + msi gaming X 1080 + 16Go DDR4 ram, and i'm at 100+ fps (but it can drop to 70 when i've the kraken or too much skeleton)
I think turn down the V-Synk and your problem will be solved. Because you can have a 165Hz monitor, but if in windows you don't tell the os that you wanna the 165hz he will stay a 30-50hz.
@synji068 I have already turned off V-Sync. But the problem is fixed again. I think there might be a program on my pc making the game run poorly.
