Mic/NO Mic Matchmaking!

    I know it's been in here before, but I wanted to emphasize that since release it's been awefull.

    It seems impossible to find a random crew that uses a microphone. I like talking to people and in my opinion it makes the game easier. If people do not want to use microphones, then I'm fine with that. But we should be allowed to queue with people who DO chose to use one.

    I can't imagine this being a hard feature to implement. This is by no means a bashing on people who don't use microphones, but more a plea for those who do.

    @eph1zul I mean you could always post a topic on the forums here [LFG with mics]? That's what I do when none of my friends are online with any game. LFG forums make life much easier than just winging it.

    @captnhempleg That just doesn't sound so user friendly, don't you think?
    If I can tick a box in-game, "I use a Mic and want to paired with others using one". Now I can just log in and play with people that want to use a microphone.

    @eph1zul errr.. now no offense man but kinda sounds like you're just lazy lol. Cause its not that big of a deal to go on a LFG forum and find a crew lol. takes like 5 mins out of your time and its even easier to do if you're on console. Its more of a pain in the a**e for them to have to put more stress on the games servers having to match up and pick out who does and doesn't have a mic? idk..i have always just used LFG forums or clubs.

    Matchmaking can make a difference.

    @captnhempleg Crazy to ask for a feature that would hardly take any work to add?
    My life doesn't allow me to play at the steady hours, making me have to post every time I want to play.

    I don't even know why you'd be against it. If you don't like the feature don't use it.

    I'm sick of joining crews who aren't using in game chat. Especially those you know are coordinating by discord or some other means.

    Yesterday I just wanted a galleon crew preferably all with mic's. I had to start a new game like 15 times! This is how it goes.

    1. Quit game, (not quit game to desktop!)

    2. Click, intro film starts, click furter.

    3. Enter ship choice screen, click.

    4. Enter crew type screen, click.

    5. Enter start screen, click again!

    6. Loading game starts, waiting.....

    7. loading game, waiting......

    8. loading game, waiting.....

    9. Finaly entering game!

    10. Me saying: Ahoy matey's!

    11. Silence......

    12. Me saying: Somebody got a mic?

    13. Silence.....

    14. Me: Nobody got a mic?

    15. Silence......

    16. Me: Ok guys then I gonne search further.

    17. Go to 1.

    This is the fastest way. Lots of times I have one who anwers in text chat, then I have to explain and/or ask a lot of questions! The same if ppl are in discord, or Xbox chat....
    In case some crewmembers actually have a mic. There is a geat chance some have Xbox chat and game chat simultanious enabled, so you have an annoying echo. Or some got there settings on speakers and not headphone. Before you get ppl willing to look into their settings......
    You catch my drift. A lot of things can go wrong.

    So yes we definitely need a mic/no mic option if you ask me!
