@captn-poulpe same here, the support aint helping at all and it seems to happen to few people, i tried literally everything
@ankhagg Still a few hours away for me. Just in case I have the same issue what did you try? Sign out n back in of both the store and the Xbox app? Just so I don't have to waste time n repeat the same steps if it didn't work.
@church420710 when i said literally everything i mean i've been trying to log into the game for the past 6h, trying every single "fix" in every single forum and reddit, nothing worked, even reinstalled the game
I had the same issues. I literally went through 20 youtube videos and countless forums to find the fix and I finally found it. From the microsoft store I can't search for the Xbox Identity Provider app. I found a link for the download and once I installed it the game worked fine for me.

yesterday the error disepear by itself( i did nothing to fix it) and i did play but since today i'm Getting the error again :/...
That's extremly weird cause i did connect yesterday so its not a problem on my computer ? i really hope this is a server problem and this will be resolved :'{
currently we are like@captn-poulpe i disable my proxy and it work :D !!! now i have to deal will overbooked servers ^^'

I'm game disigner and i love the game i can understand that the realase is somtimes problematic but this kind of error after 5 Scale test i'm sorry but its kind of a shame .... i pre order the game , i play all the betas and i cant play on the day of realase ... really ?@eradqiel yesterday it work at the moment that i have to get off of my pc and now same again.... .... i'm bored of this@Captn-Poulpe well, same. But I've a clue. Maybe Xbox identity provider is the problem. I'm trying to uninstall it atm. The game worked before it installed itself. Now it's not. So I'll try to remove that. But it's not easy to uninstall, of course.
Hey guys ! I found a solution who totally worked for me on another forum of Sea Of Thieves, thanks to the dude (LeizyFrog) who wrote this ! He's a f***ing god. I just copy/paste his solution here, maybe it will help some people.
"Boy i have the solution to ur problem c:
ill do it on simple steps
-first download that, took me a while to find this one: http://www.mediafire.com/file/6hj95rb25zi47eq/SOT.rar
-execute it, say yes, dont worry, its safe.
-press windows key+r, write inetcpl.cpl and then hit enter.
-go to connections settings, LAN configuration.
leave everything unmarked except of the first one (auto detect config)"Here you go. Totaly worked for me. I hope it will work for you too. Let me know. :)
EDIT : You will have to use the Windows Key Reg' (the stuff you need to download) each time you shutdown your computer. But it's realy quick, don't worry. Just double click on it, click on Okay, launch your game, and it's working. Easy. x)
