What do you think if it were possible to hoist the pirate flag of the ships?

@helsiike I saw one article saying it was confirmed that white-flags and other's were in the game. But that was early February and who know's but maybe, is probably more accurate.
@senilegold The cool thing about this feature is that it's a simple detail, but it would add a lot to the roleplay of the players.

@helsiike it seems logical, a pirate game with Nautical and Pirate Flags. Yet this is a game you can climb into a cannon and fire yourself then shoot a flint-lock pistol in water.
I’ve brought this up before on PvP vs PvE threads and I think it’s a good idea. The intentions of a crew would be on display so anyone that wants to quest (PvE) would have know if they are likely to get boarded etc. Like mentioned above I think it would add something to the role play aspect of the game too. I also think it would be cool if they added additional flags that you could unlock once you’ve reached a certain level with a guild. This would give another customisable feature to your ship and show others your progression with said guild.
That's a great scene. The Black Pearl's flag actually belonged to Calico Jack Rackham in real life. Anne Bonnie and Mary Reed were part of his crew as well.
I like that the character based on Madame Ching had a red flag. As she commanded an armada known as the red flag fleet.
I'm hoping people will be able to have there own flags in this game. Wouldn't be hard to upload a jpg and have a filter block all the p*****s and swaztikas.
