Please stop forcing Last Ship Standing into the solo/duo Hourglass queue. A lot of us only enjoy classic sloop Hourglass, and replacing it entirely for nearly a month feels awful. LSS should be a separate optional mode, not a forced replacement.
Please bring back OG Hourglass!
From rumors I've read, there isn't enough interest in both modes to keep both active. But in reality, who knows the reason?

No thanks. Not interested in OG hourglass. The new hourglass setup is what the HG community has asked for for a very long time. We want shrinking circle. We want automatic flags to be raised. We want supply crates. We want restrictions in place. Looking at your name I don't recognize you as a regular part of the everyday Hourglass community..... then looking at your profile you have 3 in gamedays played which is 72 hours so you don't know anything about it. So I'm thinking this is a troll post.

Nobody forces you to play anything.
Play Brig HG. Play Adventure PvP. Play PvE. Play Tall Tales. Play Safer Seas. Play another game ...
If you do not like campers, attack them. Or camp yourself.
No need to pull the plug entirely on an fresh new mode (that still gets fixes).
And if you cannot wait simply 4 weeks for sloop HG, then maybe reflect on your gaming health. That almost sounds addictive.
In my opinion, it would be better to return the arena instead of the current unfinished implementation. And the rotation of the mode should not be for a month for sloops, but alternate every week for all ships, i.e. the first week is an ordinary hourglass, the second week everyone should play the arena on all ships.
@ixxxoloff they did bring Arena back. It's in custom seas for you to build yourself and host it. Did u not see this? Also LSS will be once a week only after this season
@elmo6842 thats not arena. everything custom seas is pointless. you wont be able to work on the removed arena achievements and commendations on custom seas. it would be wild if they actually added commendations for a useless mode. dont get me wrong i am in favor of any kind of map editor like system where players can make their own content / events. but theres no way they could work it out to have a reward structure within it because of the power the tools give us we could just complete out the whole thing. at most i could see an achievement / commendation to just load into a customer server but honestly...... im tired of them adding more achievements. and the commendation grind is already insane especially for newer players. this treadmill needs to end at some point

Yeah, those arent ever coming back.
But you can host your own arena-style matchmaking games in custom seas; that is its purpose.
Heck...everything has a purpose/place and rules. But the players here don't seem to care about any of that and rather make up rules for HG and LSS for reasons.
