So is it just me and other crew mates not receiving anything but cash on the limited time voyage doubloon run? Getting anywhere from 18-20 thousand gold and no doubloons. Sup wid dat? Any chance on getting compensated in doubloons that should have been received? Take the gold back if ya need ta!

Also are you limited in the amount of doubloon crates that you can sell for doubloons if they come from a voyage your crew started.
After that limit you will be rewarded with gold instead of doubloons.
You are unlimited in the amount of crates you can steal for doubloons though
@callmebackdraft so what about the ashen chest & keys?? how come they are selling for gold instead of doubloons??
Everything that once gave doubloons, save for the reaper bounties (which now give 10 doubloons down from 25), now give gold. This includes the ashen keys, chest, humble/generous gifts, tomes, etc.
Commendations that once awarded them, now award gold too.

Yeah I saw 1 person doing a smuggler voyage, they got sunk and ragequit, chest was unobtainable (shipwreck).
I saw tons of people advertising trading on LFGs in alliances.
They shouldn't have made it limited. They should have reduced it to (picking a number here) about 50-100 and you can do unlimited all weekend. This way people would be doing them all weekend to steal. Yes some players will get everything done in the weekend but now people are actually doing the content versus not doing it at all since you only get 3 to finish.
Remains to be seen if they actually make some changes. I don't think they intended us to "trade" stolen ones with other crews so we can keep progressing. By this logic I should have gotten an alt account going and trying to trade in alliance servers which I don't think was Rare's plan. However, I do believe Rare's plan was hopefully it was limited so now we have more doubloons to have to try to get. However, unless you traded on alts / crew manipulation or actually found ones to steal that didn't just disappear / glitch, then you are expected to just redo it in a month.
