just adding another pointless element to the already insanely poorly done doubloon "fix" (which isnt fixing anything, just an insult to the players)
so the cosmetics added to larana was supposd to be for people who played during this month who wanted them could purchase them. and those who are inactive are [mod removed].... but apparently so few people bought them that now you are simply just force purchasing them on every account when the reset happens. so now this fomo stuff just shifted to something everyone will just have.. cool i guess since theres a lot of people who arent playing who MAY (but honestly highly unlikely) will come back later and maybe try the game out again?
i get when you guys make a big decision like this and closing arena and nerfing the DA sails you dont want to back pedal and get even more egg on your face.... but i think owning up to this being a pointless and goofy idea. like ive said a lot on this issue and i know others have as well and the reality is most of us who feel passionate about this poorly thought up concept dont even honestly need or care about the doubloons. its a matter of principal. a hill some players are more than willing to die on. kinda like how you are willing to let this game die on the "pvpve is mandatory" hill even though its literally cost you millions of dollars. the battles you guys keep choosing and things you insist on while ignoring the things players actually care about. youre clearly doing things for the sake of spreadsheet data while also ignoring the things that would actually improve the data you are desprately trying to improve
