Since its a mystery what the FOMO cosmetics coming in April might even be... What could also be cool is having some floor place-able cosmetic on the ship. The model is already in the game too all you would have to do is a recolor if you didn't want to put in the effort of making a new cosmetic. As the upcoming cosmetics and prices are being kept a mystery for some bizarre reason this is something I could be fine with. Could even do similar with gold piles and have us spend loads of gold to get those so our ships lower deck can kinda look like a treasure vault.
But have the shipwright have various size piles of doubloons like the piles of gold in some of the treasure vaults. Could have various sizes for 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k (or whatever variation might make up the various size piles we have for gold I've never actually paid attention to how many different size piles we have cause the time spent to gather the coin piles isn't worth it. This would give us a physical representation of our past earnings we can have on our ship, while the limited time cosmetics are similar we might not like them or want to use them on our ships? I wouldn't make that a tiered item though as some people might only have enough to buy the bigger pile but then can't afford it by the time they buy the other three. So making it that you can buy which ever you can afford.
Sadly like most suggestions here I think this wont be listened to. But it's the only thing I could think of that I would actually be happy to spend doubloons on vs just having them Thanos-ed.
